Challenge

Earlier this year a French e-liquid manufacturer called Gaia Trend has selected us for their first product launch in United states. The brand is Alfaliquid, one of the top selling e-liquids in Europe, now was set to be added to the premium segment of the United States market. Above adopting the visual brand and developing a brand communications strategy we were challenged to outpace FDA and ensure a cimoleye market wide launch before August 8, 2016 – in just under 3 months.

Strategy

We worked closely with the Gaiatrend team to understand what makes their line of e-liquids unique and adoptable in EU, and how their best practices can be applied state side. After numerous focus groups and and immerse consumer segment studies, we were compelled that an adoptation of the French brand is needed for the US market. We worked with the market leaders to identify the launch collection and created a 360 degree branding program for Alfaliquid USA.

Result

Alfaliquid USA was launched almost a month ahead of schedule with ahead massive digital campaign and its’ premiere introduction in Times Square on Bastille day. The media quickly took notice notice of the new brand and the market responded positively to the brand message and most importantly the flavors in the collections presented, with 3 of them receiving the coveted Spinfuel choice award!!!
